Hello!
I hope here are some other Finns too. I've been writing Finnish translation for Cinelerra. It isn't ready yet and there are untranslated parts, fuzzy parts, typos and so on. From 1400 strings I've translated over thousand. So. If you guys could read it trough and give some feedback. Maybe even try to run Cin in Finnish :) I haven't been successful in that on Ubuntu Hardy. Some good hints are welcome.
Some instructions to use Cinelerra in Finnish
Copy fi.po to /usr/local/src/hvirtual/po/ or wherever you have cinelerra's source and add "fi" to po/LINGUAS
then make update-po and compile normally.
After install set LANG and LANGUAGE environment varables to fi_FI and fire up Cinelerra.
Section 3.1 suggest thatyou might not need to compile yourself, but I'm don't know. Correct me if I'm wrong.

People eho are unfamiliar with .po files there is msgid "" and beneath is English version and then msgstr "" and Finnish translation. I used KBabel to edit this file.
And little bit Finnish for google and archives if someone is googling in Finnish :)
Toivottavasti juhannuksena Cinelerra puhuu suomeakin.
