For those running Ubuntu "Hardy Heron" final, this bug *seems* to be resolved
with the last kernel (2.6.24-17 generic) and its accompanying updates, though
we haven't done extensive tests with it. Running as a normal user, using the
GUI, rendering, etc. on a short session appeared to work, at least with a clean
Cinelerra_rc file.
