I am running Fedora 8 a= nd when using the freshrpms repository you get dependency errors. I recomme= nd that you add a Fedora 8 section like so: On Fedora 8, as the user root do: w get http://kwizart.free.fr/fedora/kwizart-release-8.noarch.rpm rpm -ivh kwizart-release-8.noarch.rpm yum install cinelerra =96enablerepo=3Dkwizart I got this from a blog posted: http://kernelreloaded.blog385.com/index.php/= archives/install-cinelerra-on-fedora-8/ I got the program installed in a similar way. I just downloaded kwizart-rel= ease-8.noarch.rpm to my desktop, installed it like the second line said, th= en I opened "add/remove software">edit> checked off kwizart, unchecked livn= a, searched "cinelerra", installed>edit>unchecked kwizart, checked linva, d= one! I know I did it the long way but the point of this email was to say that fo= r fed8 you need kwizart and not freshrpms and I thought I would explain how= I got it to work for me as well.
